About Dr. Behnaz Raisdana, DDS
Dr. Behnaz Raisdana was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, where her passion for dentistry began at an early age. She pursued this goal with dedication, earning her high school diploma from The Independent School before attending Wichita State University, where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry–Business.
Dr. Raisdana went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. During her dental training, she was selected for the Senior Departmental Advanced Studies program in Endodontics, an achievement that reflects her advanced clinical aptitude. Upon graduation, she received both the American Academy of Endodontics Achievement Award and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain Award for excellence in patient care. It was during this time that she developed a strong interest in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
To further expand her expertise, Dr. Raisdana completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of North Carolina, where she received advanced training in comprehensive and cosmetic dental care. She later practiced in Colorado before returning to her hometown to establish Auburn Family Dental, driven by a desire to provide exceptional, patient-centered care to the Wichita community.
Dr. Raisdana is deeply committed to improving lives—whether by relieving dental pain, restoring oral health, or creating complete smile transformations. She believes every patient should be treated like family and places special emphasis on creating a calm, supportive environment for patients with dental anxiety.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, has served as a board member of the Wichita District Dental Society, and participates in the local Seattle Study Club chapter.
Outside the office, Dr. Raisdana enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children, Isla and Iydin, as well as traveling and painting.
