Meet Dr. Moses Shin, DMD
Dr. Moses Shin began his academic career by earning an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Sung Kyun Kwan University in Seoul, South Korea. He subsequently worked as a researcher with Samsung Electronics for two years before relocating to the United States in 2001 to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Southern California. In 2003, Dr. Shin moved to Ann Arbor and enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan.
During his doctoral studies, Dr. Shin discovered a strong passion for helping people directly, which led him to transition into dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Shin is deeply committed to continuing education and stays current with the latest advancements in dental technology and clinical techniques. Known for his warm and compassionate approach, he treats every patient with the same care and respect he would offer his own family.
Clinically, Dr. Shin provides comprehensive dental care, including complex procedures such as molar root canal therapy, implant dentistry, and wisdom teeth extractions. He also offers sedation dentistry to ensure patient comfort and reduce anxiety during treatment.
