Dr. Julie Shin was born and spent much of her childhood in South Korea before moving to the United States. She graduated from St. Mary’s College in Southern Maryland, where she earned her degree in biochemistry. Dr. Julie went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
At True Dental, Dr. Julie is committed to providing exceptional patient care through ongoing education and advanced training in multiple areas of dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Julie is also a certified provider of Invisalign® and Botox®, allowing her to offer comprehensive and modern treatment options tailored to her patients’ needs.
